Dear Architects,

We hope your week is starting off well! We are excited to have reached 5.000 backers in six days! Thank you very much for all your kind support towards Tang Garden: Seasons, we are really proud of this journey and are happy to see so many of you that were part of this experience since the very beginning. We are also really grateful to see new people joining in and making this last expansion happen!

DAY 5 - Gameplay Spotlight: Equinox live stream!

We hope you are doing well.

We are entering the 5th day of the campaign and we have a couple of stretch goals to unlock before we reveal our new set!

Equinox Spotlight - Live stream!

The Emperor has recently decided that this area of the garden should have four beautifully constructed pagodas built into the corners. Each pagoda requires time and resources to be completed, and the architects have hired workers to gather these resources from nearby in the garden. Constructing pagodas is a prestigious task, and each architect must try to construct as much as they can and as high as they can reach before the season ends.

DAY 3 - More goals revealed, new overview videos

Dear Architects,

We hope you are enjoying the campaign and we want to thank you so much for backing the project!

New stretch goals revealed!

You have unlocked 18 goals so far, which brings our total unlocked goals to 26! It’s a record for us and we couldn’t be more excited to reveal what is next!

What to expect during the next 3 weeks?

There has been a lot going on behind the scenes in these first 48 hours but we can’t wait to start revealing everything we have in store for the campaign.

We have heard that you had suggestions to make the big box cube-shaped. In tomorrow’s update, you will find a survey in which you will be able to give us your opinion on this subject and other subjects about the campaign.

DAY 2 - An incredible first day. 16 Stretch goals unlocked!

Dear Architects,

We hope you are doing well and thanks to all of you for funding the project nine times over the course of the first day and unlocking 16 Stretch Goals!

In this update, we will dive in to discover everything you have unlocked and which kind of mechanisms each component adds to the game.

 Unlocked: Tiles and Panoramas 

Build unprecedented views with 6 new small panoramas, and expand your garden with these 10 new tiles! Some of the tiles like the Lion and the River will add interesting mechanisms that reward players with coins for expanding the greenery or water that these tiles contain.

 Unlocked: New decoration cards 

We have also unlocked 3 new decorations: Ladybug, Ginkgo, and Dragonfly. Insects will reward players that manage to collect decorations that are placed in similar garden spots (like greenery), while the Ginko -the last tree in Tang Garden- will be planted to ramp up points and work towards completing your Tree set collection.

 Unlocked: Cool Stuff  

You will be able to use the stickers to beautifully decorate your tiles (while this doesn’t affect gameplay, it will definitely boost the thematic look). The transparent bases for the lanterns will elevate these decorations for a magical vibe. Finally, the always useful insert and improved character bases to immediately glance at the sight direction of each character in the garden.

 Unlocked: Expert characters and new stretch goal

We introduced the concept of Expert characters in Tang Garden: Seasons. When unlocking a new character, you can decide to upgrade the one you started with, instead of getting a new one. We already unlocked the first two (Sword Dancer and the Child), and three new ones will be unlocked with the next Stretch goal.

At the end of the Kickstarter page, you will also find the Expert Merchant, which can be immediately unlocked by getting 1’000 additional followers in our social media accounts.

 Unlocked: New characters! 

The Warrior will grant one additional coin when matching two roads. When placed in the garden, the Warrior will grant 7 coins plus 2 coins for each empty tile space (without a tile) in the line of sight.

The Weaver is bringing the most precious and beautiful silk. He will grant 2 points every time the controlling player takes a decoration with a bonus advancement. If placed in the garden, the Weaver will grant 2 coins for each decoration around him for a maximum of 10 coins.

Astronomer Stretch Goal

We also have revealed the third character in our Stretch goals, waiting to be unlocked at 310,000€!

The Astronomer gets one coin every time any player places a character spot in the garden (found both on tiles and decorations)! When the Astronomer is placed in the garden, they will grant 10 coins minus a coin for each wall in their line of sight.
